Zorp’s First Abduction

Although many other extraterrestrial beings deny ever abducting humans, at Lumen Station we are not afraid of our history and past. Our history is important in understanding how we have expanded and grown our researching avenues. We recognize that abducting humans is not humane and we have taken steps to ensuring that it will never happen again. To make up for our past mistakes, we would like to share a story from one of our agents, Zorp, who is scared of humans. Zorp’s incident acted as a catalyst in changing our methods of research. Zorp is still undergoing treatment and we hope that one day he will be able to become one of our top Lumineer agents. (Zorp wanted tell his story through screenplay format.)

INT. LUMEN STATION CREW QUARTERS – NIGHT

An alien with holographic skin and long skinny arms, ZORP, checks his antennas in a portal mirror. He straightens his employee name tag and forces a nervous gummy smile at his reflection.
ZORP
(through smile)

You got this Zorp. You’re special. You can do anything you put your mind to. They picked you for a reason.

Zorp spins away from the mirror and starts pacing around his room.
ZORP
(nervously)
I should make sure I have everything. Transmitter, lunch–

ALARM BLARES
INTERCOM (O.S.)
The Tractor Beam is fully charged. All agents report to the control center immediately.
ZORP
(frantically)

My laser! I gotta go!

Zorp scurries over to his desk and opens the top drawer pulling out a chunky purple laser gun. He shoves the laser into a pocket on his belt and runs out the door.

INT. LUMEN STATION CREW QUARTERS – FOUR HOURS LATER

Zorp storms into the room breathing heavily. Unable to stand anymore he collapses to the ground. His antennas shrivel and droop as he shakes in a ball.
ZORP
(crying)
Never again! I never want to see those things again! They told me humans wouldn’t be scary.

Zorp rips his employee badge off and throws it away from where he is curled up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since Zorp finds it difficult to talk about the events that occurred during his mission this is all that he provided. However many witnesses claim that Zorp had seemed nervous his whole shift and avoided socializing. Zorp was in control of the Tractor Beam and he did successfully abduct a human. However when the human entered the ship, Zorp immediately froze up and lost control of the beam. The human was able to break loose and then attacked Zorp. Other agents where able to help Zorp and sent the human safely back to Earth. After Zorp’s incident, we decided our ways of research didn’t align with what we wanted to accomplish and now we have our Lumen Agents on Earth! We hope that this gives insight into the lives of our Lumineers on Lumen Station!
